Young Women in Excellence Video Presentation

Goodbye!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all the YW leaders and each girl who I have grown to love so much for your friendship and for all the memories we have shared over the past 2 years. It is strange to think that it has only been 2 years, and that in such a short time I have developed such a love for each of you. I will miss you all so much. Tears come to my eyes as I think about all that we have shared together. To each of you girls....you are beautiful and the light that shines from your eyes truly inspires me! You are daughters of God who are developing faith and who are seeking to understand your divine qualities. You are strong and true and full of integrity! You are pure and clean and simply beautiful to behold. Always stay true to who you have always been. I really believe that we came to earth to REMEMBER, with the Lord's help who we were premortally and who we can become.

To each of you that were at girls camp, I will cherish those memories we shared. . . for eternity! I love thinking about the Iron Rod experience....remember that it is about you! Remember to hold fast to the scriptures and to the counsel of prophets and apostles and I know you will taste again and again the sweet Love of the Lord!

I can still close my eyes and picture our testimony meeting, I can picture each of your faces. I love each of you so much and feel blessed to have shared together sweet testimony and to felt the Holy Ghost so strong.

I will miss you all. I love you.

Love Forever,

Young Women & The Temple

Tuesday's Trip to the temple was a wonderful opportunity for the Young Women to walk the temple grounds, pray to their Father In Heaven, Feel The Love Of The Lord, and Hear The Whisperings Of The Spirit. Sister High shared such a nice message and we were all able to take a few minutes out of our day to REMEMBER WHO WE ARE.

James E. Faust
Each of us has to receive our own witness concerning Jesus as the Christ. It gives us the power to become disciples of the Christ.

1 Nephi 11:25
And it came to pass that I beheld that the rod of iron, which my father had seen, was the word of God, which led to the fountain of living waters, or to the tree of life; which waters are a representation of the love of God; and I also beheld that the tree of life was a representation of the love of God.

John Taylor
I would rather have God for my friend than all other influences and powers outside.

Gordon B. Hinckley
You hold up your heads and stand tall and walk in righteousness and faith and virtue and truth and do not let anybody put you down or sell you short. Stand tall, do what is right, count on the Lord, and He will bless you in a wonderful way” (youth meeting, Denver, Colorado, 14 April 1996)

“Women are the flowers in God’s great garden, and they ought to look perky.”

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

As the Prophet Joseph Smith told us, “Happiness is the object and design of our existence; and will be the end thereof, if we pursue the path that leads to it; and this path is virtue”

Some people want to keep one hand on the wall of the temple while touching the world’s “unclean things” with the other hand. We must put both hands on the temple and hold on for dear life. One hand is not even almost enough.

Articles of Faith 1:11
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

The Young Women @ The Temple
